A few things to check before handing in the IELTS paper:

1. Sense

Does the argument make sense?  Can you read it from start to end and understand its points? Does it answer the original question?

2. Tense

Have you shown some intelligence and variation with tenses?

3. Evidence

Have you added evidence and examples to support your arguments? Each argument should have at least two or three sentences to back it up.

4. Additions

Have you added some ‘flair’? Improved the language with synonyms? Put in some variety in punctuation?
