Part 3

From Monday to Friday I go to work. I get up at 6 30, have a shower, brush my teeth, get dressed, and eat breakfast. I leave the house at 7 30, and go to work by subway, and then on foot. I work from 9 to 5.

At the weekend I get up at 11. Sometimes I go and have brunch with my friends,

but usually I don’t get dressed, and go into the living room and watch TV. I like to play computer games, so sometimes I play those too.

get home = arrive at the house
3. brunch = ‘breakfast + lunch’: a meal around 11, often quite long and with friends
4. pub = a European style bar, with drinks ‘on tap’ rather than bottles, no music, and a ‘homely’ feel
