Useful Phrases

To Whom It May Concern use this if you are not sure the exact person you wish to speak to about this issue
I am writing in regards to… a phrase that gets quickly to the point, but is still polite. Use it when trying to keep the email short.
…for which I wish to be considered a good phrase to use when applying for a job
Please find attached… very important email language: simply, it means I have attached something and I want you to look at it
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to aska polite way to say ‘if you don’t understand, or want to know more, just ask me’
Thanks in advance if your email is asking the reader to do something, thank them beforehand (it also reminds the reader you want them to do something).
I look forward to your reply this is both polite, and a good way to ‘remind’ the reader he/she is meant to write back to you
